The invention relates to a nail file for more convenient, efficient and individually optimized editing and care for both artificial, artificially reinforced and for natural finger and toe nails.
Nail files are known in various designs. Depending on the material, they differ in their properties, their durability and their price. Metal nail files are widely used for permanent use, which accordingly have a hardened and resistant filing surface to last for many years. Such files are available with handle, but also as foldable files of bag utensils or bag knives. In the production of metal files fine stainless steel chips are placed on a stainless sheet and welded together. The fine chips are called diamond chips because their edges are very sharp. Metal files are durable, can be washed, disinfected and sterilized. They are very thin (about 1mm), relatively elastic and versatile, even for the removal of cornea. However, metal files are not very popular among nail designers, although they are widely used. First, the metal file heats up considerably due to friction, making handling difficult and unpleasant. Second, such metal files are not suitable for soft and delicate nails. Moreover, they have an adverse effect on the natural nail plate by being roughened and split by the friction with the metal. A metal file can not seal the nails sufficiently, which is why the nail is not ground completely smooth at the end. This can tear the nail. At least, however, it is more prone to injury due to its roughened surface as a result of grinding.
More advantageous and softer files are available as strip-shaped files, which are produced as laminates. Two approximately 0.5mm thick cardboard or plastic strips of about 200 mm in length and 20 mm in width are coated on their one side with one file material each, which has a characteristic grain size. The grain of one strip is therefore relatively coarse to grind coarser bumps on the nails, while the other strip has a finer grain for fine grinding or a very fine, almost unnoticeable grain to polish the nail surfaces. The two strips are welded on the two sides of a rubber strip about 1mm thick or firmly glued to the same. This results in a laminate of some rigidity, so that the nail file can be hand-held at one end and filed with the free end. It can be given during the filing sufficient pressure on the file without this kinks. However, if such a file is worn, so the grain has become dull, it must be replaced as a whole.
Paper nail files are the most popular and cheapest among the nail files. They are very popular with nail designers. You can use them both when filing the natural nail plate and in nail extension technique. They are available in many colors. Its name comes from the outer layer of the file, which consists of the corresponding paper and various filings. These filings significantly affect the quality of work and the strength of the files. They mostly consist ofScandinavian wood (very durable),alumina, silicon carbide,Mylar, zinc stearate,Or from a self-sharpening Zirkonium.Alle all filaments are coated with a suitable adhesive and glued or pressed with the paper to the corresponding plate, which is referred to as the core. There are wood, plastic, teflon and sponge cores. The particular abrasive layer as well as the specific core used have an effect on the hardness and elasticity of the nail file. Each file is thus characterized by its own unchangeable properties. The manufacturers use different core colors, - to make the nail files better distinguishable among themselves.
There are also glass files, which are not cheap, but are durable. Some manufacturers even give an unlimited guarantee on the wear of their file. For this, the glass is hardened several times and must be etched for the optimum surface finish or sanded with corundum. Glass files are easy to clean with brush and running water and they can be disinfected and sterilized. They are mostly used for nail tips, acrylic and gel nails, but also for thin and brittle nails in traditional manicures. Before use, it is recommended to dip the file into the water. The file then sticks better, cools the material and also filaments better. The glass nail file with a fine surface closes the free edge of the nail sufficiently well, which makes the nails smoother and less brittle. Their smooth grinding surface does not damage even painted nails. However, glass files are inflexible, which proves to be a disadvantage to practical handling. Once the glass file falls out of the hand and onto the floor, it breaks into a multitude of pieces.
In addition to the files mentioned also files made of sandstone, etched with acid, silicon files with silicon coating, or Teflon files with a file core made of Teflon, are common. In addition, there are different file forms, such as simple narrow and wide, but also rounded in the banana, half-moon or elliptical shape. However, the straight universal files, which are suitable for a variety of applications thanks to their all-round form, have proven their worth to the users. The characteristic thickness of a file decides sometimes about their rigidity and the quality of their handling and is also crucial for the properties of the nail file.
Central to the nature of the files are mainly their characteristic filing grains that need to be adapted to the needs of the nails. The grain size refers to the amount of grain, ie the number of filings per unit area on the file, typically in grains per square centimeter. For a typical nail file, this size is between 80 grains / cm 2 to even 400 grains / cm 2 or more. The fewer grains per square centimeter, the sharper the file, and the more grains, the finer the file will be. If the condition and condition of the respective natural nail plate is poorly assessed, as a result of which too coarse grain size is selected and possibly also worked incorrectly, the nails can suffer greatly under the grinding process. Therefore, it is important to match the appropriate grain of the file optimally to the nail structure. The most commonly used sizes of grains in nail files are: 80, 100, 180 and 240 grains / cm 2.
80 grit / cm <2> is the coarsest grain for nail files and thus driest sharpening. It can be used to coat hard and thick nail surfaces e.g. from acrylic or gel to file. With this file you can also remove calluses on the feet and hands. 100 grains / cm 2 denotes a middle grain. With such a nail file, the nail tips are shortened and shaped. Filet the thinner nail material like gel or fiberglass. You can use them to file the harder natural nails on your hands and feet. 180 grains / cm <2> is already a fine grain. With such a file extended nails are finally formed, filed the nail tip threshold or shortened the natural nails. 240 grain / cm <2> indicates a very fine grinding surface. With this the nail tips can be matted and the natural nails filed. 400 grains / cm 2 and more are extremely fine surfaces. Such files are used for the natural nail plate for fine matting and polishing, as well as for the final phase of acrylic polishing. When working on nails, one always starts with a slightly coarser grain size and ends with a finer one, whereby in particular the lower area of the grain spectrum of the respective nail structure has to be adapted.
But the great diversity among the nail files also harbors a big problem. With increasing supply, also with regard to the nail modeling, the Laiin among the users is increasingly overstrained to identify the correct care tool or the correct nail file. In addition, nail modeling is not carried continuously, but the natural nail must recover in between the exertions of the artificial nail coating again. In this time between two Nagelmodellagen the care of the naturally grown nail is even more important. However, since the needs of an artificial nail do not match those of a natural nail, the average user will unknowingly use a fake nail file because she is not well aware of these different needs and therefore uses one and the same nail file in the mistaken belief that it is the same nail for the respective nail. It is understandable that dressmakers do not specifically select their nail files for the type of nail they are currently wearing, especially since this would be quite a cost - not least because of the relative short life of many files. However, since a typical file for natural nails is not suitable for filing artificial nails, you will opt for a harder version when buying a nail file and then use it, if they do not wear artificial nails or nail enhancers, affecting their natural nails. In view of the rapid spread of various nail modeling, this problem continues to grow.
Another problem in the spread of nail modeling is especially the do it yourself development, ie the sale of products and instructions for the independent execution of nail modeling without the use of a suitable specialist. Since the need for aesthetic nails is steadily increasing in both women and men, women in particular are prone to such cost effective, self-contained modeling procedures because there is no optimized nail care utensil that will meet their needs.By doing so, they are of the opinion that painted or gel-coated nails may obscure the condition of neglect because they cover the damaged or at least compromised natural nail. In fact and in truth, they damage their natural nails in the first place, possibly even lasting.
Against this background, it is the object of the present invention to provide a nail file for artificial, artificially reinforced and for natural finger and toenails, which is due to their structure and their variability the whole range of possible nail care needs and individually to a certain nail structure can be adapted and optimized, both for use in professional manicure or modeling as well as for unprofessional use. Moreover, the object of the invention is to provide a nail file, which due to their shape is carefully adaptable to the respective nail contour and which is optimally adaptable due to their variable thickness for each individual filing technique and the respective nature of the nail plate. Another object of the invention is to provide a means for polishing the nails so that the top or top coat is replaceable for the aesthetic appearance of the nails. In addition, it is an object of the invention to provide a nail file, which remains longer operational due to their greater resilience or low sensitivity and which is more convenient and efficient to handle, so that one and the same file can be used for a variety of jobs.
This object is achieved by a nail file for the fingernails and toenails, characterized by a laminate structure consisting of a core (1) and at least one file blade (2, 3) of any thickness, one surface (4) an applied grain has arbitrary fineness, and the opposite surface is coated with an adhesive which is covered with a protective film, after wegreiissen the same of this file sheet (2, 3) removably adhered to the core (1) is glued.
In the drawings, the nail file is shown as an example, its structure will be described and its handling and its advantages will be explained. It shows:<Tb> FIG. 1: <SEP> The core and two file sheets to be pasted on both sides of the core;<Tb> FIG. 2: <SEP> The nail file with the core and the file sheet glued at the top and bottom, ready for use, with a view of the roughly to fine grained file side for filing;<Tb> FIG. 3: <SEP> The nail file with the core and the file sheet glued on top and bottom, ready for use, with a view to the finest grained file side for polishing;<Tb> FIG. 4: <SEP> The flexibility of the nail file with laminate construction in practical use;<Tb> FIG. 5: <SEP> The nail file when removing one nail blade to replace with another;<Tb> FIG. 6: <SEP> The nail file with a triangular profile as the core and three file leaves;<Tb> FIG. 7: <SEP> The nail file with a hexagon profile as the core and six file leaves;<Tb> FIG. 8: <SEP> The nail file in use with arrows to indicate the file movements.
In view of the ever-increasing variety of different artificial nails and the increasingly demanding clientele, the care of artificial nails, art-reinforced nails or natural nails plays an increasingly important role. Since time immemorial, nail files have been used for the treatment and care of natural, artificial or artificially reinforced fingernails and toenails, and their use is done by hand. The presented here nail file for fingernails and toenails consists, as shown in Fig. 1 of a laminate construction of a flat core 1 of smooth plastic, metal or wood, and at least one consisting of foam rubber or moss rubber-like material file blade 2, 3, one surface of a applied grain having any fineness between 80 and 6000 grain / cm <2>, while the other, visible here surface has an adhesive coating 4. This adhesive-coated side is initially covered with a protective film. After tearing away the same, these file sheets 2, 3 wegnehmbar be glued to the core 1. As shown here in Fig. 1, the file sheet 2 is placed with its adhesive coating 4 on the core 1 and pressed. The file is ready to use by attaching a single file 2 file. Your core 1 can be optionally equipped on the remaining free page with a file sheet 3 by this is also placed and pressed with an adhesive coating 4. Depending on this, the user prefers such a nail file with one or two file sheets. In the case of a single file sheet 2, the pressure of the hand can be transmitted directly through the fixed core 1 and the file sheet 2, whereby the pressure can be exerted more effectively on the nail to be processed. For many modeling methods, the latter is of great importance. On the other hand, in many cases it proves to be practical to use a single nail file with differently arranged file sheets. As a result, a multifunctional use without changing the nail file is possible by these only needs to be rotated by 180 ° in the axial direction. A file equipped on both sides with file sheets 2, 3 is also better in the hand among other things.
However, the shape of the core 1 is in no way limited. Thus, the core 1 can also be designed as a three-dimensional body, such as a cube, as a cuboid, as a four- or five-sided pyramid and polyhedra with a variety of outer sides, for selectively sticking file sheets (2, 3), each with specific grain size. In this case, the core (1) can also be configured as a hollow profile, preferably with at least two flat outer sides. Depending on this, a user prefers one or the other form of the core 1.
Also formed as a flat surface both the core 1 and the file sheets 2, 3 are not necessarily strip-shaped executable, but also banana-shaped or sickle-shaped, so that the nail file is even better in the hand. In this case, the mass is also given with a thickness of 0.5 mm to 2 mm, a length of 150 mm to 210 mm and a varying width of 15-25 mm. The file sheets 2, 3 are then made congruent to the shape of the core 1 and their one surfaces are coated with adhesive so that they can be adhered to the core 1.
In Fig. 2, the nail file with glued on both sides of the core 1 file sheets 2, 3 is shown, looking here on the grained file surface 5 of the upper file sheet 2. The core 1 is in turn here as a strip-shaped and rectangular in the basic form, but executed with rounded corners as well as the congruent resting on him file sheets (2, 3). These rounded corners are very useful when filing, as this shape of the corners reflects the natural curves of the nail plate in the area of the nail wall, allowing gentle filing up to these corners. Thanks to this shape, such places can be processed with simple, gentle radial movements, whereas they always have to be left out with conventional files.
Fig. 3 shows the nail file rotated by 180 ° in the axial direction. The view is now released on the finest granular polishing surface 6. With it even natural nails can be polished so finely - depending on the selected grain size - that the use of primer or topcoat is even superfluous. The core 1 is preferably made of a smooth plastic part. As an alternative to plastic materials, it is possible to make the core 1 of a smooth stainless steel sheet, in a flat version of the same as a stamped part or as a water jet cut-out part. Another alternative is a core 1 made of a chromed sheet metal, such as a stamped part or as a water jet cut-out part. Finally, the core 1 can also consist of a wooden plate or a wooden laminate platelets.
If the nail file or its core 1 is provided on both sides with a glued file blade 2, 3, it is stiffer, but can still harm as far as shown in Fig. 4. The at least one file sheet 2, 3 is congruent adhered to the core 1 as mentioned above, that is, the file sheets 2, 3 have in this case by default the same base area as the core 1. The core 1 is also in Fig. 4 strip-shaped and rectangular in area, with rounded corners, 0.5 mm to 2 mm thick, 150 to 210 mm long and 15 mm to 25 mm wide. The file sheets 2, 3 have a thickness of 3 mm to 7 mm, depending on the design and compactness of the sponge rubber or sponge rubber-like material used.
The one surface of the file sheets 2, 3, which is coated with an adhesive, is initially covered with a protective film. After tearing away the same, the file sheet 2, 3 wegnehmbar be glued to the core 1 as shown in Fig. 5 can be seen. Then it is held on the same slip-proof. If necessary or after wear, it can easily be replaced and later glued on again. This allows the greatest possible flexibility for filing and polishing, because depending on requirements, file sheets 2, 3 can be applied with specific grain on the core 1, for optimized processing and care of the nails, according to their structure and nature. Thus, a single file can be used to cover the most varied needs of fingernails and toenails.
Fig. 6 shows an alternative form of the core 1, namely here a triangular profile. There are then three flat surfaces for sticking foil sheets 2, 3 available Instead of a profile can also occur a hollow profile. FIG. 7 shows, instead of a triangular profile, a hexagonal profile which even offers six flat surfaces for gluing file leaves 2, 3. Of course, profiles or hollow profiles with four, five or more than six flat surfaces are possible. Application of various file sheets 2, 3 for individual adaptation.
Fig. 8 shows the use of the inventive nail file. The file movements take place in the same way as with conventional files. The decisive advantage of this novel file proves in the integrability and ease of application of various file sheets 2, 3 for individual adaptation. After at least one file sheet 2, 3 has been glued with suitable grain size on the core 1, the file can be used immediately. Due to its variability, this nail file can be used for natural, artificial or artificially reinforced nails. It is also possible to remove the calluses on the hands and feet by applying a file 2 3 with a sufficiently coarse grain size.
The inventive nail file will meet any claims of nails, including the many different types of artificial nails and nail reinforcements on fingernails and toenails. In the process, artificially modified fingernails are rapidly spreading and the techniques are becoming ever more sophisticated and special. Above all the USA, but also Europe and Asia are increasingly responding to the trend with all imaginable products and processes for nail modeling. Nail processing systems such as lengthening gelation or strengthening with gel, acrylic or using the wrap technique, as well as various combinations and variations thereof are now used worldwide. For all these procedures nail files are central tools. The nail file according to the invention can be used regardless of the respective method. Here are some examples named. 6 shows any such method.
When extending an existing nail is sometimes worked with nail tips, so-called tips. If possible, the nail tip should match the shape of the naturally grown nail. So that the wearing of the artificial nail is not unpleasant, this is carefully selected by the nail designer or nail designer. First, the natural nail is shaped with a file in such a way that the nail tip with the notch on the bottom matches with it. Then the nail tip is glued to the natural nail with an adhesive and brought to the desired length and shape. The own nail together with the new nail tip is then covered with a modeling plastic and filed after curing, smoothed and polished. It is understood that a nail file used in this procedure must be precisely adapted to the requirements of the nail layer to be processed. In this multi-stage process, in which the nail file is used at least twice, once for processing the natural nail and once for processing the modeled nail, it is apparent which different requirements are placed on the corresponding nail file. Not all nail designers use different files, and it is even to be expected that unprofessional users will not do the latter anyway. Thus it can be assumed that the nail file which is actually suitable for the later method step damages the natural nail in the earlier method step and the modeling thus takes place on the basis of a pre-weakened natural nail, for the further loading of the same.
The older nail extension procedure by means of templates also requires an adequate nail file. This should be characterized by sufficient, but not too great hardness. In this method, a template is flush under the natural nail, whereupon they used as a base for the extension of the nail or for the application of the appropriate material. After the material has cured, the template is removed and the modeled nail is smoothed and polished. The nail file is thus central to the finish and the final look.
For some time, the natural nail reinforcement enjoys increasing popularity. There are basically two different methods to distinguish. The one and older of the two methods reinforces the nail by considerably sanding the naturally grown nail to fill the removed natural part with an acrylic gel. The latter is mainly used by those customers whose natural nails are brittle and therefore break off again and again. Such customers, despite their bad nail properties a certain nail length, which can not be realized with their natural nails alone, but by the gel reinforcement. They accept that their own nails are affected by the process of gel reinforcement.
However, the majority of modellage customers have healthy nails, which is why the application of such gel filler under weakening of its own nail is not desirable. Nevertheless, to avoid the flat nail surface with greater strength and lasting nail color, the so-called gel varnish was developed. In this method of nail reinforcement, the own nail is left in its natural shape and thickness. The gel varnish is gently applied in üblichicherweise 3-4 layers, which cure under UV light. Due to this gentle process, the use of gel varnish is also becoming more and more popular for toenails.
Since with the growth of the nail, the view of the unsightly outgrowth is released and increasingly form cracks due to the shifted statics, which is why the paint crumbles, customers who can strengthen their nails, stopped, every 2 to 3 weeks the old Remove paint and apply a new one. Thus, this gel-lacquer process, like the older gel filling-up process, is a costly one, with the inevitable and even dubious consequence that more and more customers order UV curing equipment and gel lacquers often via the Internet instead of the home Nails to be maintained and processed by a specialist. In particular, young customers who have no or no sufficient income can be tempted by such lock offers for unprofessional nail modeling. Often, they do not know the risks associated with misuse, such as using a cheap gel varnish or improper use of the UV curing device. Also the numerous circulating video clips with do it yourself - instructions for the nail processing and care often come from unreliable, unprofessional sources. And so it is not uncommon for such clients to unknowingly ruin their natural nails, for example, by removing too much nail material and / or applying the gel improperly, causing the hardened lacquer layers to eat into the surrounding skin, with momentous, sometimes permanent ones damage.
Again other hazards are the dissolution of the gel upon its removal. This is done using a special process, as most gels can not be removed with common solvents. Rather, the old gel layer must first be roughened. This roughening is a delicate process, especially since it may take place only very superficially and a very limited nail volume should be removed. The roughening serves only to let the gel solvent seep into the layers better, so that it can be there in no time without damage to the surrounding epidermis, be effective. Other gels, on the other hand, can only be milled for removal. Here come u.a. hard files are used. As part of their professional training, a specialist has developed the knowledge as well as the sense for the material removal that is currently required. On the other hand, a Laiin runs the risk of removing too much layer of nail during this step, which weakens her nail strength and eventually permanently damages her nail structure. Subsequent to the arowing process, when soak off gels are removed, a mostly acetone-containing nail polish remover must be used which is significantly more aggressive than nail polish remover for conventional nail polish. In professional nail salons, wadding or films with absorbent gauzes are soaked in the solvent and then wrapped around the finger and attached to the respective fingertip so that the gauze or cotton wool soaked with the acetone-containing liquid comes to rest on the gel nail. Then, depending on the chemical composition, precisely predetermined exposure time must be awaited, while the acid of the solvent makes the horny layers of the nail porous. An untrained user is at high risk with too little exact adherence to the prescribed exposure times, because an aggressive nail polish remover will eat into the nails and also into the surrounding skin layers if the exposure time is too long. The latter removes a lot of fluid from the nail and skin. They dry out and as a result the nails become brittle, brittle and leafy. During the subsequent removal of the remaining varnish sheets on the nail, a hard object, preferably a metallic hoe or a hard file, is used. The handling requires appropriate expertise, as a user can thereby easily injury both the nail plate and the sensitive Perionychiums, the transition region between the nail plate and the surrounding epidermis, pull.
In view of the not inconsiderable expense associated with the removal of gels, the dangerous habit has crept in many gel nails wearers, instead of removing the paint regularly and in accordance with regulations, only roughen the old gel varnish layers with a nail file and then apply new gel varnish layers to it. As a result, the gel dissolves and adapts to the uneven, old and sometimes brittle layers of backing, which weakens the nail. Such refreshing techniques are rarely practiced by professional professionals for the reasons mentioned.
In view of the growing awareness of personal care, attention is also increasing towards the nails. Unfortunately, efforts are often in vain and even harmful. Since there is no customizable Nagelpflegeutensil so far, there is an uncertainty and overstrain by the enormous range of risky Nagelbeschönerungsverfahren. Care is often equated with painting, although the latter is detrimental to nail care in cases of improper use. Unknowingly, a multitude of women are damaging their nails by believing that they are doing something to hide their unkempt nails under a coat of color instead of tackling the problem at the root.
The excessive demands in terms of nail care ultimately springs from the lack of an individually customizable, safe and easy to handle Nagelpflegeutensils. But nails, like the hair of a human, are unique and characterized by individual characteristics. Therefore, the nail care mandatorily requires a variably adjustable, the nail structure of an individual expectant tool.
To curb the worrying development of online sales and non-binding and above all unprofessional consultations, a novel nail file was developed, which makes the application of a topcoat or even a base coat obsolete, characterized in that the nails are optimally cared for and be provided with a natural shine.
As a special feature, this nail file is available as a modular kit, the user or the user a predefined number of file sheets are provided with different grain size. This allows the person with a single modular kit, the nail processing and care for a variety of modellages as well as different texture of the nails use. Eventually, the condition of their own nails will vary over time, such as nails becoming nailed. For example, the person can meet all sorts of nail needs with a single modular kit.
The individual file sheets can be made in different colors, according to their grain size. Due to the fact that they are visually distinguishable in their respective strengths, a different color design is particularly suitable for marking the grain and / or the strength. For example, the color differentiation option serves to clearly discern the nature of individual case sheets of a modular kit. This makes it much easier for a person to identify which specific case sheet is worn out and therefore needs to be replaced. Even within families of several families, the color indicator of the file sheets proves to be advantageous in that different family members have different nail structures and therefore make different demands on a file. Thus, different file sheets can be assigned to different family members.
Each family member can orient himself on the basis of a specific for his or her nails color or specific colors of the file sheets. Thus, a single modular kit with a core and differently designed file sheets for the nail care and care of a whole family. Of course, other color designs are possible that are not bound to a characteristic property of the same.
